Our Miracle - Thursday, March 25, 2010

I only have a few seconds but wanted to quickly update you on Parker's MRI results. The exact words of the neurologist were, "Although there are a few small hits- they are extremely small. If I had to use the word mild, I would make sure it was with a lower case 'm'. I don't expect him to have any neurological problems from this event at all. Mr. Parker is going to be just fine."

The only issue that keeps Parker in the hospital is his lack of nutrition. He isn't taking in the amount of milk that he needs- thus the NG tube remains. Since this isn't a major issue we may be able to transfer to Roanoke. What a blessing this would be!

This truly shows the power of pray. Thank you all for seeing us through this difficult time. Saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough.

  4. OH! I AM SO HAPPY! It has seemed like forever waiting to hear the results. I can't imagine what it has felt like for you and Jeff. He is definitely starting out early trying to keep you one your toes. :) Let the competition begin--for which child can make mom the most nervous. Let Spencer know Parker is ahead. I hope you get to come home soon. Can't wait to meet him! Love, Terri

  5. It just proves that prayer and believing in mircles work. I have checked on Little Parker all day and prayer over and over for the mircle we wanted. Before you know it, you will be taking him home, he will be playing with Spencer, and keep you up at night... Love you guys so very very much... Pam and Phil

  7. Praise the Lord!!! I am a believer in miracles because I experienced a miracle in my life and still am. I had a brainstem stroke in 2005, docs said only 2% of strokes are brainstem with a very low survival rate. I had to learn everything over just as a baby does. I don't mean to make this about me, but prayer is what got me through!! It truly strenghtened my faith!!! I am so elated for Parker and his entire family!! Thank you again for sharing this beautiful miracle with everyone!!!
